Copper River Wild Salmon Forever (CRWSF)
The most sought after and famous salmon on the planet returns annually to the pristine and lush waters and forests of the Copper River watershed. Yet, there are no preservation or protection policies in place anywhere on the Copper River or in the Delta. Although the Trans Alaska Pipeline runs over tributaries alongside the Copper River, and there is not an adequate oil spill response plan in place in the event the aging pipeline would ever spill into the watershed. EPC finds this unacceptable – and everything we do in this program area is pointed towards the ultimate target of Wild Salmon Preserve legislation. With this in mind we offer the following experiential programs:
