The Aveda Earth Fund's mission to give back to society and is an example of our longstanding commitment to social and environmental leadership and responsibility. Aveda demonstrates our commitment to earth and community care by partnering with nonprofit organizations focused on caring for the earth and protecting biodiversity.

The Mission of the Ben & Jerry's Foundation is to engage Ben & Jerry's employees in philanthropy and social change work; to give back to our Vermont communities; and to support grassroots progressive social change organizations around the country.

The Bullitt Foundation's mission is to safeguard the natural environment by promoting responsible human activities and sustainable communities in the Pacific Northwest.

The Chugach Heritage Foundation's mission is to preserve, promote and support the Alaska Native people and cultures of the Chugach Region through human resource development, educational programs, and community and tribal support.

Common Stream believes that people are divided by race, class, gender, sexual orientation, age, and culture because of an unfair distribution of power and resources. This inequity harms all people and is destroying the environment for all species. We support building a progressive movement in the United States in order to realize a vision of justice, ecological integrity, and equality.

Based in Alaska, the Fund for Indigenous Rights and the Environment provides strategic and financial support for Indigenous human rights, self-determination, community and ecological health, cultural and environmental protection of Indigenous lands, and the preservation of related intact ecosystems and wilderness.

The small grants provided by Global Greengrants Fund build groups' capacity to work locally to protect forests and stop fossil fuel extraction; support Indigenous-led efforts to gain control of and sustainably manage their traditional territories; and link local communities to internationally coordinated campaigns.

As a unique national Native initiative, Honor the Earth works to a) raise public awareness and b) raise and direct funds to grassroots Native environmental groups. We are the only Native organization that provides both financial support and organizing support to Native environmental initiatives. This model is based on strategic analysis of what is needed to forge change in Indian country, and it is based deep in our communities, histories, and long term struggles to protect the earth.

The Hugh and Jane Ferguson Foundation, founded in 1987, is a family foundation which supports nonprofit organizations in the Pacific Northwest and Alaska. The Foundation is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of nature, including wildlife and their required habitats.

Kalliopeia Foundation is a private grantmaking foundation that contributes to the evolution of communities and cultures that honor the unity at the heart of life's rich diversity. Through our grantmaking we seek to strengthen a collective recognition of the oneness of humanity.

The L.J. Skaggs and Mary C. Skaggs Foundation supports programs to protect threatened areas and species, education programs (particularly those directed towards youth), and collaborative organizations active in the field of ecological concerns.

The Patagonia Environmental Grants Program gives at the grassroots level to innovative groups overlooked or rejected by other corporate donors. We fund activists who take radical and strategic steps to protect habitat, wilderness and biodiversity. We have given over $43 million in grants and in-kind donations to more than 1,000 organizations since the program began.

Rainforest Action Network campaigns for the forests, their inhabitants and the natural systems that sustain life by transforming the global marketplace through education, grassroots organizing, and non-violent direct action.

The Rex Foundation aims to help secure a healthy environment, promote individuality in the arts, provide support to critical and necessary social services, assist others less fortunate than ourselves, protect the rights of indigenous people and ensure their cultural survival, build a stronger community, and educate children and adults everywhere.

The mission of the Seventh Generation Fund for Indian Development remains as our founders originally envisioned: dedicated to promoting and maintaining the uniqueness of Native peoples and the sovereignty of tribal Nations.

Founded in 1990 by Ted Turner, Turner Foundation, Inc. (the "Foundation") is a private, independent family foundation committed to preventing damage to the natural systems - water, air, and land - on which all life depends.
